Disclaimers and other Useful Information

I am not an expert of any kind.

If something I say sounds like advice, take it with a grain of salt. Just like the crazy guy or old lady that starts talking to you while you’re in line and tells you exactly what you should do with your life, take it with a grain of salt. If what I say resonates with you, then I hope I help in some way on your own personal journey. That’s why we’re here… to learn and grow as individuals. But I’m not telling what you should or shouldn’t do. I’m just writing about the things I’ve found useful along the way and hope I save someone else some heartache and/or embarrassment. If you perceive what I’ve written as advice and you go out and follow it, you do so at your own risk. I’m not an expert. I’m not a doctor. I’m not a medical expert. I’m not a health professional. I am not a therapist. I am not a professional (well, maybe a professional bullshitter, but that’s probably not something I should promote) and have not had any kind of professional training. If you feel you need professional help, there are organizations for nearly every need you can think of. If you can’t find one, let me know and maybe I can help you find an appropriate organization because I am quite proficient at Google’ing (what is the official way of spelling that?).

I have affiliate links.

That means I make a minuscule amount of money sometimes on products I link to or mention if you purchase them.  Basically, I sometimes earn enough to get the large size of coffee at Coffee Bean. I really LOVE Coffee Bean so if you’re going to buy a product or service that I mention anyways, I’d appreciate you using my link so I get some credit. If you don’t, no worries – I hope you enjoy your purchase anyways. If you purchase something that I recommend and don’t like it, guess what? We’re different people and we’re not all made the same and we’re going to have different opinions. Hallelujah for our differences – the world would be so boring if we were the same!

My stories are my own

If a situation you read about on the blog sounds like something that happened to you, it is my story and how awesome is it that we had similar experiences!?

It’s probably not you

I do not use anyone’s real names. If your name happens to be the same and you were in a situation that happened to be the same, like above, how awesome is it that we had similar experiences!?

I’m not perfect

While I strive my best to give accurate information, sometimes I make mistakes. There will most likely be some omissions. I’m sure there will be some errors. And I guarantee you I will make mistakes. I will do my best to correct any misinformation. If you see something is wrong, let me know and I will try to correct any mistakes as quickly as possible. (This is often referred to the Terms of Use clause)

This is my blog and I’ll write how I want to

At any point in time I might change my mind about how I want to run this blog/website. I might decide to change what I write about. Or what the focus is. Who knows? Maybe I’ll someday take up knitting full time and this blog will end up being a blog showcasing my magical unicorn knitting skills. Whatever, happens, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time. After all, I am a girl and we’re notorious for changing our minds. Which should be the case for everyone, because remember the whole point of life is to learn and grow as people and that includes changing our mind.

Some content is strictly for 18+

There is some content on this website that I ask for a donation for. It’s a two-fold situation but the main reason is that the content usually contains very explicit information that is not appropriate for people under 18 without parental consent. In order to get a credit card, you’re supposed to be 18. So if you can make a donation using a credit card, then you are 18+. See the logic? If not, I’m sorry.

The other reason is that I REALLY like Coffee Bean!
